IMPORTANT

Employers are urged to register their foreign workers for FOMEMA medical examination test within 72 hours of their arrival in Malaysia and to be conducted at FOMEMA panel clinics
Medical examination results are typically released within 7 working days from the medical examination date
FOMEMA verifies compliance with the Ministry of Health Malaysia's standard operating procedures

As of December 2023, medical examination tests for foreign workers are mandatory to be conducted annually. Adhering to this ensures high standards of public health and national safety, aligning with our commitment to ensuring a healthy and capable workforce in Malaysia.

Special Renewal Cases

Special Renewal allows panel employers or agencies to re-register their foreign workers who were previously deemed unsuitable for employment. This re-registration process provides an opportunity for workers to undergo another round of medical examination, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements. Each application will be reviewed carefully, and subject to approval.
