You may follow these steps:

  1. Login to the MERTS postal portal
  2. Click on “Profile” to update the new email address registered

You may follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Fingerprint Error”
  2. Fill in the error type and necessary info
  3. Upload the required document
  4. Submit for approval

The approval process may take up to three (3) working days.

Quota increment is only allowed for employers.

The medical documentation for foreign workers must be maintained and well-kept at the clinic or premise for at least two (2) years for FOMEMA inspectorial visit purposes.

Please document any observations, conversations, or incidents related to the suspected abuse. The case will be referred to the nearest government hospital for evaluation.

A copy of the referral letter must be forwarded to FOMEMA within 24 hours of the examination date via email at cs@fomema.com.my for further action.

This requirement is not a key indicator for ‘suitability’ of foreign worker to work in Malaysia. Please certify as “Suitable” if there are no other abnormality.

Under the condition that all other details match, you may proceed. It’s important to note that all information in FOMEMA should align with the details mentioned in the permit or the approval document by Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia.

Panel clinics are not able to generate a full medical report for the foreign worker. Only the employer can generate the medical report through the FOMEMA Online Portal.

All results must be transmitted within 24 hours from the last transmission date.

The cases that you require to notify the health district office are:

  1. HIV
  2. Hepatitis B
  3. Hepatitis C
  4. Malaria
  5. Syphilis
  6. Tuberculosis
  7. Filariasis

Panel clinics will have to email cs@fomema.com.my at least one (1) week before the closure of the clinic.

The registered doctor must formally inform FOMEMA of their status via email at cs@fomema.com.my If a new doctor is replacing the outgoing one, the new doctor or the clinic’s management must notify FOMEMA in writing at the same email address.

Please notify us at least two weeks prior to your resignation to avoid any delays in transmitting results to FOMEMA.

The new replacement doctor at your clinic will undergo a screening process and his/her status of the application will be updated and communicated via email.

Panel clinics will need to send an official letter to cs@fomema.com.my to notify FOMEMA on your current status and new location. The respective department will reply to your email on the next course of action.

The payment to GP is RM70 per foreign worker.

The payment to X-ray clinic is RM32.30 per foreign worker after deduction of 8% SST.

If you’ve submitted incorrect information for a foreign worker, please email an official letter on the clinic’s letterhead, signed by the doctor, to cs@fomema.com.my Include the worker’s name, code, reason for the correction, and accurate readings.

 

The relevant department will process your request within three (3) to five (5) working days, and you’ll receive a confirmation email from pendingreview@fomema.com.my with the updated information in the comment section.

X-ray facility should prepare an official letter on the clinic letterhead, signed by the doctor, and email it to xqcc@fomema.com.my and cc cs@fomema.com.my 

The letter should include the foreign worker’s name, worker code, and the reason for the wrong transmission of the X-ray result. The process will be completed within three (3) to five (5) working days.

You will need to prepare an official letter with the laboratory letterhead and lab manager’s signature, and email it to pendingreview@fomema.com.my  and cc cs@fomema.com.my 

The letter must include the foreign worker’s name, worker code, reason for the wrong transmission of lab result, provide the actual lab report, and request the deletion of the wrong lab report submitted.

Your email will be forwarded to the respective department, and the process will be completed within three (3) to five (5) working days.

Once the laboratory result has been removed or amended, you will receive an email reply from the respective department.

You will need immediately to inform the employer to amend the gender in the system before the clinic can enter any data or transmit results.

Yes, clinic may proceed with the medical examination. However, please notify the employer to amend the information in the system.

You will need to send an email to mspd@fomema.com.my and cc cs@fomema.com.my to notify us on this matter. We will allocate a new X-ray facility to accommodate all the foreign workers assigned to your clinic.

To request for an Audit Radiograph Letter, you may follow these steps:

  1. Login into MERTS X-ray page using your X-code login details
  2. Click on the “ARL Request” tab
  3. The XQCC team will review the request and send the ARL Requisition Form via email
  4. X-ray facility to fill up the form and send the filled-up form to XQCC team, along with proof of payment

Audit Radiograph Letter will be issued within one (1) month upon request

The proper collimation technique is shown by the four borders of collimation and the use of a lead marker as the primary anatomical marker.
