FOMEMA Shah Alam Regional Office Closure

The FOMEMA Shah Alam Regional Office will close permanently on 1 May 2025.

The decision to permanently close the office comes as part of our commitment to enhancing customer convenience through the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the FOMEMA Online Portal. This transition supports our digitalisation efforts, making services more accessible and efficient while reducing the need for in-person visits.

We encourage our customers to take full advantage of the FOMEMA Online Portal for convenience and a smoother experience.

The office is not being relocated. It is a permanent closure.

With the enhanced FOMEMA Online Portal available on the FOMEMA corporate website (www.fomema2u.com.my), under the Employers & Agency section, customers can now access all services previously offered at the physical office anytime, from anywhere. This eliminates the need for in-person visits, making transactions faster, more convenient, and easily accessible.

All registrations must be done through the FOMEMA Online Portal available on the FOMEMA corporate website, under the Employers & Agency section.

Aside from foreign worker’s registration, customers can also access a wide range of services through the FOMEMA Online Portal, from amending foreign worker information, updating employer details, progress status, to downloading the foreign worker’s medical examination results.

Yes, the FOMEMA Online Portal is available 24/7 for all services.

There is no charge to use the FOMEMA Online Portal.

Identity verification for suspected fraud cases will be conducted online via a video call. After receiving the confirmation email from FOMEMA, you may schedule a date and time for the verification process. Please note that you must reply with your preferred date and time at least three (3) working days after the date of the email.

It is also important to note that the foreign worker and their original passport must be available during the video call.
