Employers have the options to:

1. Purchase insurance only from our insurance provider, Howden Insurance Broker; or
2. Purchase the FOMEMA medical examination form and insurance together

There are three insurer options available at the moment under Howden Insurance Broker. These options are:

1. Liberty Insurance Berhad
2. Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad
3. QBE Insurance

You may purchase the insurance by following these steps:

1. Login at the FOMEMA Online Portal
2. Click on “Register Worker”
3. Click “Buy Insurance”
4. Select the insurer name
5. Choose the insurance product of your choice
6. Click “Calculate”
7. Click “Confirm Pay”
8. Select payment method
9. Proceed with payment

Please follow the following step to purchase insurance

1. Login at the FOMEMA Online Portal
2. Click on “Register Worker”
3. Tick on the existing worker or click “Add New Worker” if the foreign worker is not in the list
4. Click “Add to List” if you are adding the new foreign worker to the list
5. Click “View List”
6. Click “Buy Insurance”
7. Select the insurer name
8. Choose the insurance product of your choice
9. Click “Calculate”
10. Click “Confirm Pay”
11. Select payment method
12. Proceed with payment

You are required to check your email for the insurance policy. The insurance policy will be emailed to you within three (3) working days once the information has been updated.

Insurance renewal for foreign workers is allowed for policies expiring within 60 days from the current system date.
